Project planning

The first step in creating a DVD is planning the project.  Our DVD specialists will help you create a presentation that takes full advantage of the features DVD has to offer.

Video editing

If your presentation requires editing of raw footage, then Baba Digital can edit your video in our professional on-line edit suite, featuring A/B Roll editing, computer graphics, and narration booth.

Support of international broadcast standards

Baba Digital Media can convert your video to NTSC, PAL, or SECAM formats.  We can also produce your DVD in either NTSC or PAL.

Video and audio encoding

Once the project is planned and all video content is in a finalized form, the video and audio is encoded into our DVD system.  We use a wide variety of formats including Digital Betacam NTSC and PAL, DVCPro, Betacam SP, 3/4",1", 8mm, VHS and S-VHS.

DVD Authoring services

The encoded assets are then organized in the DVD authoring program.  Here interactive menus with buttons, chapter points, content copy protection selectable subtitle, audio, and angle tracks are programmed into the project.

DVD-R Burning & Premastering

After authoring, the project is multiplexed and imaged, and is ready to be burned to a DVD-R or copied to a DLT for making a glass master needed for mass production.

Graphic Design

Baba Digital offers custom design of artwork for the DVD label and packaging.
